So I used to make some custom content for The Sims 2, and I want to use what I did for that and apply it to The Sims 3. What I did is export the files in Bodyshop, then edit both the Alpha and colorful-whatever-they’re-called files to create my lovely new design. I obviously don’t need the colorful-whatever-they’re-called files anymore, since you can recolour in-game, but I want to know how to edit an alpha file of a piece of clothing. The alpha files were the ones in black and white, that looked like this:

I miss me alpha files. *sob* So the faster I find out how to export them, the faster you get pretty custom content for your TS3 Simmies. Whee!

Okay so I found out how to get those alpha files and stuff, and turns out it’s really complicated. Instead of one, there’s like twelve. And I need to download a DDS plugin for Gimp or something, and it’s really confusing and I don’t feel like installing six random programs from websites I don’t know on my fancy new laptop just to find out, with my luck, it probably won’t work. And also, I can’t remember where I saved Delphy’s CTU. *takes a breath* SOOO… I’ll just be doing recolors. But I’ll try to make them nice and unique and pretty. Unless someone who can help me step by step in a noob-friendly way to do all the DDS/Gimp shit, you’ll just have to bear with me.

Anyway, here’s a model I made for Cowplant Designs. I named her Noelle Jasmine, haha yeeeah.

I’ll upload her sometime, but I kind of want to go to bed now. Byeas.
